North Carolina Museum of Art (NCMA) hosts an exhibition “Reflections on Light. Works from the NCMA collection ".
The exhibition features paintings, drawings, sculpture and other works of art spanning over two thousand years.
The works of artists of different cultures, countries and eras - from ancient masters to European authors of the 20th century - demonstrate how painters reacted to light, used it in their work, what effect various types of natural and artificial lighting had on their work.
