Born on July 25 (August 7), 1901, in Palekh. Hereditary icon painter. Participated in restavracii cathedrals of the Moscow Kremlin. He studied at the Artel of ancient painting. He worked in the Association of Palekh artists. Died 8 Oct 1977, buried in Palekh.
