(17 August 1872, Grozny — may 25, 1937, Kiev) — Russian artist.

Graduated from the St. Petersburg military school, served as an adjutant in an infantry regiment, stationed in Rivne. In 1896 he retired and took up painting, 1896-1899 G. lived in St. Petersburg, a volunteer attended the Academy of fine arts. Then for family reasons was forced to return to Zhitomir, but continued to send works for exhibition in St. Petersburg. In 1910-1912 traveled extensively in Russia and Europe. In 1919 he headed the Zhytomyr Union of artists, in the 1920s, he taught painting at school and College.
