Germanovich Lavrov

Member of the Union of artists of the Russian Federation, a hereditary artist.

On my father's family were painters, artists, architects. Participant of international, zonal, regional and district art exhibitions. Personal exhibitions of the artist took place in 2001, 2006 in Moscow. Participant of international plein airs in Macedonia.

Professor, candidate of pedagogical Sciences. Teaches drawing, painting and composition at the Moscow state pedagogical University.

Born in1936 in the family of hereditary painters. His grandfather, Peter Lavrov, contained the icon-painting workshop and became widely known as a restorer of icons and frescoes; uncle Sergei Lavrov, was one of the first futurists, and in 20-30 years one of the ten best architects of the country.

Today Lavrov Viktor Germanovich – Professor, candidate of pedagogical Sciences in the field of fine arts. He is the artistic Director of the artists ' group "Solo". Among his pupils such famous artists as Igor Solovyov, Viktor Nadezhdin, Svetlana Solodovnikova, Tatiana Biel, Helen Rudeva, Olga Petrakieva and others.

Victor Germanovich Lavrov successfully combines pedagogical activity with creativity. His paintings were presented at national exhibition of teachers of art institutes in 1982, and a number of exhibitions in the period from 1984 to 2000. Lavrov miniature depicting the Russian landscape in 1992 was exhibited in America, Switzerland and Spain, his works were acquired by the Museum of the city of Mozhaisk and in private collections.

Creativity Lavrov couched in the traditions of the Moscow school of landscape painting, and has a special flavor, which give his works a truly vibrant and colorful image.
