Born in the town of Belozersk, Vologda region. In 1976-1981, he studied at the Palekh art school. Teachers - A. V. Gordeev, K. S. Semeikin. In 1981-1989, he worked at the Palekh art-production workshops. Themes of works: folklore, literature. Participant of exhibitions since 1996.
