Osipovich Strashinsky

An auditor student at the Academy of fine Arts. Received medals: in 1850 - 2 silver for the "Image of king Lear"; in 1854 - a gold for the expression in the painting "the Death of Riccio"; in 1855 - 1 gold for the painting "Wallenstein in Bohemia" and in the same year received the title of class artist. In 1856 sent to the pensioner abroad, Academician in 1862 for his painting "the Murder of the Bishop of liège". (Kondakov)
