Honored worker of arts of Belarus. The author of landscapes of the "Old Polotsk", "the Ruins of the ancient fortress", illustrations for the works of Gorky's "Petrel", Kupala "mound," and others.

Born in 1923 in Vitebsk. VOV.

He studied at the Vitebsk art school (1939–1941.). He graduated from

Minsk art school in 1951, the Moscow polygraphic

Institute in 1960, he Studied at the V. Jagica, M. Livshits, G. Garaschenko.

Works mainly in watercolours, as well as book graphics.

Major works: a series of watercolors "Guerrilla trails", "

the traces of partisan glory", "Vitebsk region – land of blue lakes", "Lithuania", "Armenia", "Old Polotsk", "Breslau"; Illustration to the poem
