Doctor of architecture (1953). Member of the CPSU(b) since 1944. He graduated from the architect. faculty of the Kiev thin. in-TA (1927), and taught there between 1940 Professor. In 1945-56 President Acad. architecture of the Ukr.SSR. He designed the Palace of metallurgists in Dneprodzerzhinsk (1932), the building of the Ukrainian armed forces.SSR (1936-39) and Ukr. cooperative Union (1955-57, et al.) in Kiev and other buildings.
