Cosimo Rosselli (Italian. Cosimo Rosselli) — Italian painter of the Renaissance. Is known that together with the artists of Florence (Ghirlandaio, Botticelli, Perugino) was painting the Sistine chapel by order of Pope Sixtus IV. Critics believe that the many frescoes by Cosimo Rosselli had a hand in his apprentice Piero di Cosimo: latest got its nickname in honor of the name of their master.
