He was born in 1948 in Chisinau, Moldova. He is the graduate of Republican Art College named after I.Repin in Kishinev in 1972, masters different painting techniques and styles. Since 1991 Arkady Ostritsky lives and works in Bat Yam. Member of the Association of Professional Artists of Israel, participant of numerous exhibitions.

In the 1990s, Arkady Ostritsky worked actively in the field of book graphics. The most famous of the editions he designed are I. Segal "The Forest Wanderer" (1996, 2001), M.Uler's The Lower City (Tel Aviv, Iron Golan, 1994, Temple Institute: Psachim (Temple Institute, Map, 1998), I Ariel's Return to the Temple (Mahon a-Mikdash, 1997), Temple Institute: Conversations on the Temple of Raban Gamliel (Sifriat a-Mikdash, 1997) and the TANAH textbook for secondary schools (Ed-Ertzi, Masada, 1998).

Director Haim Kalev used about a thousand drawings by Arkady Ostritsky in the TV movie Burning Bush of Thorns (Sirthey Ord, 1992-1993, directed by Haim Kalev).

From 1993 to 1995, he worked as art director at the Artima animation studio in Tel Aviv and taught fine arts in yeshivas and high schools in Jerusalem and Gush a Tzion.

Arkady Ostritsky's works are very different, often controversial, but in his sense of the multifaceted world the artist is always on his way. And the road will take the walker.
