Descriptif de la toile «Gift»

Alisher Alikulov was born in 1966.
He first developed his artistic abilities at the Republican Art School in his native city (1983-1987) under the guidance of V. Petrov and M. Umarov. After that training, he enrolled at the K. Behzod National Institute of Art and Design to continue his art studies under the direction of G. Kadyrov and R. Hudaibergenov. In 1995, the artist presented his diploma work created at the Institute fresco "The Collapse of the Great Empire.
Since 1995 Alikulov started creating his monumental murals for various institutions (ministries, museums, banks, etc.) in Uzbekistan, which greatly contributed to his high artistic reputation. Among others we can mention his two monumental frescoes "The Garden of Eden" and "The Tsar's Hunting" executed in 1995 in the lobby of "Alpomish" Sports Palace in Tashkent, then "The Great People of Uzbekistan" executed in the hall of Tashkent City Hall administrative building (1999), or the fresco "The National Revolt" by the Uzbek History Museum (2000) and State History Museum (2002), which is entitled "Amir Temur in World History".
In 1996, Alikulov participated in an exhibition dedicated to the 660th anniversary of Amir Temur at UNESCO headquarters in Paris. The following year, he was elected a member of the Uzbek Academy of Art. In 2000, he had his first solo exhibition at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Washington, USA. The same year, he was elected a member of the International Association of Ohio Writers and Artists (USA). In 2001, he received the Gold Medal of the Uzbek Academy of Arts, and finally, in 2003, he received the title of "Honored Art Worker".
Alisher Alikulov's works can be found in public and private collections in Uzbekistan, the United States, as well as in Europe, Asia and Africa.
