Descriptif de la toile «Cheshire Cat»

It's early evening. Gray, the most ordinary cat with all the pros and cons, is lying on the windowsill. The room is quiet. Gray lies and looks at me, he feels good, warm and calm, and at some point it seems to me that he is smiling. A smiling cat... a smiling cat... Lewis Carroll's character comes to mind. Illustrations from books I once saw appear before my mind's eye. The Cheshire cat is smiling, but in his half-open mouth he has shark teeth for some reason... Or him, with a broad American smile, but teeth like a human... It looks a little eerie. And then I imagine Gray as the Cheshire cat. A dense forest, foliage hiding everything around it, even the sky. An old, old tree with a huge hole in it, and on a thick branch the gray Cheshire cat is nestled and smiling. Smiling like a cat.
