Maria was born in Moscow. Since childhood she loved to draw various silhouettes of fairy tale characters, which later led her to the art school on Prechistenka, after which she decided to become an artist. After she graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University (named after Lenin), art-graphic faculty. At the same time attended classes with V. S. Chuikov in his studio, along with other students of the artist. Maria studied the surrealist trend in art, especially she liked the work of Magritte and De Chirico. This influenced her work. She participated in various group exhibitions as an artist and later began to work with video (video art and film). She has been making performances since 2021.
