He was born and died in Moscow. The initial art education in 1932-1936 at the Moscow art school of memory of 1905, where he studied with N. P. Krymov. In 1936-1941 Glebov studied at the Moscow state Institute of fine arts, where his teachers were S. Gerasimov and A. A. Osmerkin. In 1941, the artist volunteered for the front. His graduation work was the painting "the FRONT ROAD" (1948). From this time began an active creative activity of the artist. The first years he worked in the book chart — illustrated works Kaverina, V., B. Gorbatova, AA Fadeev, S. Mikhalkov and other writers, worked in easel engraving on linoleum. Under the influence of N. P.Krymov, with whom he was friends, Glebov seriously started painting. The landscape Glebov wanted to Express as fully as possible the feelings and emotions arising from the perception of nature. In nature, Glebova attracted everything — different seasons, different time of day when any change makes the same kind of landscape as, lighting, the feelings that it invokes. The artist has always loved to paint landscapes — completed thoughts, strictly linked and harmonious. His canvases contemplative, they revealed the leisurely life of nature. The artist traveled around the country. Wrote the North, the Crimea, he worked in the Tver and Murmansk regions, in Moscow, near Pskov — Pushkin in the reserve. In the 1960s, he did not leave without attention the so-called "severe style": painting "WINTER" (1968) by the compact arrangement of groups of trees, almost black, undivided by a strip of forest in the distance is reminiscent of the landscapes of the artists. However, Glebov soon departed from this understanding of the landscape. He was more interested in decorative painting, the ability to combine large flat areas with scenic harmony, the finest color consistency relations. One of the most impressive paintings of "SUMMER" (1972) reports the status of a hot summer day on the banks of a small river. Amazing overall system can be called the painting "AUTUMN FOREST" (1973). A narrow strip of water at the front edge, in which we see the reflection of trunks, for her, burning all shades of yellow, a row of trees. A special place in the work Glebova is a series of landscapes dedicated to Pushkin places where he worked in 1973. The series marks a new stage of the artist's work: the assertion of monumentality in the landscape, the perception of nature as a majestic, powerful man's environment in which he becomes a tuning fork of its state. In the film "MICHAEL" was the view from the porch of the house, columns of which is bordered by the landscape, forcing you to focus on deep space fields under a high blue dome of the sky. Such a panoramic image Glebov used in other paintings of this series: "SOROTI", "LAKE KUCAN". In these works, perhaps most clearly perceptible Mature skill of the artist, fluency means of expression. During his creative life Glebov participated in numerous exhibitions, the first of which was an Exhibition of young artists of Moscow in 1934. Turning point for the artist has become a personal exhibition in Moscow in 1973.
