Mikhailovich Kalashnikov

B. 7 Nov 1905 in Tiflis (now Tbilisi), Georgia - mind. 25 Aug 1978 in Kharkiv. Graduated from the Kharkov public Institute (1922-29), where he studied with O. Khvostenko-Khvostov, M. Burachek. A member HO UAU from 1938. Participant of exhibitions since 1936. Taught at the Kharkiv public Institute (1930-33). Worked as an artist Kharkovskogo academic theatre of Opera and ballet (1924-25), theatre “Berezil” (1926-27, Kharkov), theatre of musical Comedy (1929-31; 1937-39, Kharkov).
