Born on 2 January 1945 in the village Zahmatabad Tomatobased district of the Leninabad region of the Tajik SSR. He studied at the Leningrad Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin (1963 - 1970) D. A. Zaitsev and L. V. Khudyakov. Member of the Union of artists of Russia since 1993, Chairman of the Vologda branch of Union of artists of Russia (1995-1999).

Participates in art exhibitions since 1959. The artist's works are exhibited at the all-Russian, interregional, regional, international exhibitions. Solo exhibition of paintings was held in Vologda (1997).

Lives and works in Vologda since 1990. The works are in Vologda regional picture gallery, in museums of local lore of the Vologda region, private collections in Russia and abroad.

The artist works in oil painting in the genres of landscape and still life. Major works: a series of landscapes of the 1990-ies, written in the ancient towns and villages of the Vologda region (Vologda, tot'ma, Ustyuzhna, Kirillov, Vytegra).
