Painter, graphic artist, theater. artist. He studied at the hood. school in Barnaul (1920-22). Since 1923, the participant of exhibitions. From 1925 he worked in the gas. and in the publishing house in Tashkent, where he taught. After 1937 she lived in Leningrad. Paintings, portraits (including "self-Portrait", 1930), vol. graphics, design theatre. performances, etc., etc. Died in besieged Leningrad.

Born in Yegoryevsk mine in the Altai. In 1918-1920, he studied at Barnaul in the art Studio led by Elena Korovay. E. Korovay celebrated the courage and originality of artistic vision of his pupil. 1923-participates in exhibitions. As a martial artist of the newspaper "Krasnoarmeyskaya star" went on maneuvers in 1923-1924. From 1925 he worked as an artist in the newspaper "Pravda Vostoka" in Tashkent and the Uzbek state publishing house. After 1937 moved to Leningrad. Among her works — portraits, still lifes, genre paintings, works of decorative art. Works of V. P. Markova are in the State Russian Museum and other collections.
