He studied at the Moscow art College (1934-36), then at the Moscow art Institute (1937-42), Sergei Gerasimov and Alexander Osmerkin. In 1941 - 45 was part of the brigade of the poster "TASS Windows". In 1962 -78 taught painting and drawing at the House of education workers in Moscow. 1953 - the constant participant of art exhibitions. His works are in the collection of the state Tretyakov gallery, in several regional museums.
