Works in the technique of linocut, in recent years engaged in a pattern was Born in 1910 in Vinnitsa. Studied in 1932-1933 the graphic Department of the polygraphic art at V. A. Favorsky, I. Y. Pavlinov, M. S. Rodionov. Participant of art exhibitions since 1931. Major works: illustrations to "history of one city" M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin (1938, Tretyakov gallery, Pushkin Museum im. A. S. Pushkin, the State literary Museum). Series of linocuts: "Students at the virgin lands" (1957, reproduced in the book L. I. Brezhnev's "Virgin lands"), "Front series" (1958, TG), "Bread" (1959-1960), "black sea fleet" (1963), "the border Guards of the Arctic" (1956-1975), illustrations to the poem of Vladimir Mayakovsky "Vladimir Ilyich Lenin" (1967, CX RSFSR), images of the "Sports series" (1978-1980 CX USSR), "Front days" (1979-1980, MK RSFSR).
