I studied with the wonderful Ukrainian artist N. N. Gusachenko. During the great Patriotic war he worked in the Kuibyshev aviation plant. After the war he graduated from the Russian Academy of Arts, and then enrolled in the creative workshop of the USSR National artist A. M. Gerasimov.
