In 1921 – 1925 he studied at VKhUTEMAS in specmaster easel-fresco painting from P. V. Kuznetsov. Participant of exhibitions since 1922. In 1926, invited by the Exhibitor to the exhibition

"4 art". Posthumous exhibitions: 1976 – collection of Nukus, mobile; 1977 – MDNH; 1981 – drawings from the collections of the Nukus. Gminv; 1991 – timing; 1993 – gallery Capitani. Milan; 1994 – 20 – 30-ies. The New Jerusalem. Tarasov believed himself to be an expert in all forms of art, noted the influence of Rembrandt. He had a gorgeous basso profundo, was the soloist of the choir of Radio, 50 years of singing in Church choirs. The artist's works are kept in the Museum of New Jerusalem, in the gallery "miracle" in the Karakalpak GMI im. I. V. Savitsky.
