Konstantin
Stepanovich Semaikin

Born in the village of Balabanovo Penza region. Member of the Union of artists since 1972. In the years 1947-1952 he studied at the Palekh art school. Teacher - I. P. Vakurov. In 1952-1989, he worked at the Association of Palekh artists (1954 - Palekh art-production workshops). In 1969-1989, he taught in Palekh art school.

Was engaged in monumental painting. Works Semikina inherent in the precision, finesse, capacity image. Themes of works: folklore, literature, history. Participant of exhibitions since 1964.

The work of K. S. Semeikina are stored in museums: gmpi, Ivanovo OC, DEM, GMAN, HF Russia.
