A graduate of the Academy of Arts from 1764, 1779, Got 2 silver medal (1779) and was sent to the pensioner abroad. In 1784 - "appointed" for the sculpture: "Resting Hercules"; in 1785 academician for his work: "David triumphant over Goliath". (Kondakov)
