Finished the workers ' faculty at the Kharkiv art Institute (1928-33) and Kharkiv art Institute (1933-34; 1937-41; 1945-47), where he studied with S. Prokhorov, A. Coquelles. A member HO UAU from 1947. Participant of exhibitions since 1950. He taught at the school of the people's Commissar of internal Affairs (1934-39).
