Painter. From 1951 to 1956 he studied at the Sverdlovsk art school. He took private lessons from I. K. dated. Graduated from the Republican school of art (Chisinau, Moldova). He studied at the painting faculty of the Moscow state art Institute. V. I. Surikov. Was friendly and worked by A. Klepinin.

He worked as a sailor, a carpenter, a sub-skipper, a boatswain. Went to barkentine "Meridian" and the barge "Krusenstern". He painted landscapes, seascapes

Engaged in literary activities. Since 1981 were published in the magazine "Ural Pathfinder", "Ural", "pioneer", "Search-88". Two novels came out in separate editions. A friend of V. Krapivin (number of guests can explore the paintings in the collection of V. Krapivina).

His paintings are held in Museum collections.
