Artist Dmitry Vasiliev was born in Kamensk-Uralsky, Sverdlovsk region in 1972.
1982-1987 studied at art school №1
1987-1991 training at the Sverdlovsk art school named after SHADR.
1992-2000 studies at the Academy of arts named after I. E. Repin, Saint-Petersburg, faculty of painting.
1994-1995 - exhibition in private gallery "New West" Berlin.
1996 - personal exhibition in the city of Manderscheid, Germany.
2001-2002 - participation in the exhibition "Russian realism", "Russian in Berlin 2", "Russian impressionism", Hamburg.
2000-2006 - participation in annual exhibitions in the Manege, in CX. SPB.
2006 - personal exhibition in the gallery "Rain gallery", Beijing, China.
Works are in private collections in Germany, France, USA, China, New Zealand, and also in the private collection of the Prince of Saxony.
