About the exhibition in the Astrakhan art gallery (18.7.2003):
In the Astrakhan art gallery named after B. M. Kustodiev ended a personal exhibition of the oldest Astrakhan sculptor, participant of the great Patriotic war, member of the Union of artists of Russia Tamara Timofeevna Avdeeva. It is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the sculptor and represents 25 of figures and portraits, including a marble self-portrait. In addition to sculptures, exhibited drawings made by the celebrant. Sculptor T. T. Avdeeva for many years participated in regional, zonal and Republican exhibitions. Many well-known for her composition "Lenin and children", which has long been the ornament of the Palace of pioneers, standing on the red promenade. In the courtyard of the art gallery many years there are her sculptures "take care of the world!" (granite) and "Peace" (marble).
