Painter. People's artist of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Born October 20, 1942 in the village of Ivanovskoye of the area Birikken CU. He graduated from the Frunze art College (1964), the Moscow art Institute. V. I. Surikov (1969), workshop of A. M. Gritsai. 1969 – teacher CHHU them. S. Chuikov. Participant of exhibitions since 1969. Member of the Union of artists since 1972.
Author of thematic paintings and landscapes. The subjects of his paintings devoted to the life, work and leisure of the rural population – sowers and the tillers. His paintings covered a poetic mood, love to the native land. He knows what depicts on the canvas ("Mother", "Corn", "Sowers", "Machine", "Time of Hayfield"). Like most artists, Torobekov many around the Republic, where brings a huge number of landscape sketches – material for future major paintings.
