(R. 2.12.1937, Leningrad – 18.08.1987, Alupka, Crimea) painter, member. CX USSR (1968), Merited. artist of the RSFSR (1987), winner of the St. “Eaglet” (1978) and so the boiler. Lenin (1982). In 1943, he was evacuated to the village of Kultuk, Irkutsk region. In 1946 he returned to Leningrad. Engaged in the art Studio of Palace of pioneers in A. L. Levin. In 1959 graduated from the Leningrad. of arts. Uch-school in 1965 – the Institute of painting, sculpture and architecture. I. E. Repin. Worked in the Studio of B. V. Ioganson in A. D. Zaytseva and V. V. Sokolov. Thesis “Finite. 1941” (1965) is located in the Museum's permanent exhibition, Institute of arts of the USSR (Saint-Petersburg). From 1965 he lived and worked in Person. Master GE. picture. He created a cycle of production, dedicated. Led. Otech. war: “soldier” (1967), “the Siege” (1969), “Farewell waltz” (1975, 1985), “Pigeons”, “Farewell of Slav” (1979, 1984). In their production. the artist turned to the events far from the combat situation: the wires to the front, episodes of blockade life, etc. the themes of war and art joined in the picture by S. “homage to Garcia Lorca”. The artist worked on a triptych, dedicated. Of A. S. Pushkin. In the 80-ies. S. turned to the East. the events in the Urals. region: “Piles of socialism” (1981), “1917 in Chelyabinsk” (1987), “On the way to Shushenskoye” (1987). A number of works associated with the trip to Mongolia as a maintainer of the exhibition “Soviet art”, dedicated. 100 anniversary from the birthday of Lenin, 1971: “On the grasses and the birch trees” (1973), “Filling in the Gobi” and graphic. a series of “Datsan. C. always sensitively convey the character of the landscape of a region: “an Evening in the Balkans” (1980), “morning on the lake Turgoyak” (1978), “Filling in the Gobi” (1973), “Spring in Sotsgorod” (1979), “thunder in Sinegorye” (1983), “Autumn in Malyshevo” (1985), “AK-Tash”.
