Biografia e informazioni

Le Pho (Pho Le, 2 August 1907 - 12 December 2001) Vietnamese painter. In 1932 he received a scholarship to study at the Art school in Paris. Returning to Vietnam, he taught at the Higher school of fine Arts of Indochina in Hanoi. In 1937 he returned to Paris, where he lived until his death. Still lifes, landscapes with elongated human figures, portraits of women and a child had been a constant theme in his work.
The main theme of his paintings is the woman – mother. More precisely, the idea of motherhood. His images are sketchy, as the faces on the icons. They are always surrounded by flowers themselves resemble exotic flowers. Vozmozhno, Le Pho grew up in a happy family and the charge of love that he received in his childhood, he had enough for a lifetime. Or maybe it was his dream about a happy family life. I'm surprised bright work. In them even there is no shadow - only rich colors and spread all over the sunlight. In this Kingdom of harmony possible conflicts, so its inhabitants are full of peace and tranquility, and are busy walking in the garden, picking flowers or playing with children. For the first time confronted with his paintings, I set aside all my Affairs and not rest until, until he collected more than a hundred of his works. What I found, give all from the heart. I was captivated by the soft, casual charm of this enchanting spectacle of paints.
