An exhibition opened at the Fabrika Center for Creative Industries
Yulia Tsvetkova, "Personal?".
The exhibition presents the main periods of Julia Tsvetkova's creative path, reflecting the energy of her feelings and thoughts, where the world is presented in its deep authenticity and concentration, asserting the presence of "here" and "now". Before us opens that visual and semantic story of the young artist's life, of which Kazimir Malevich wrote: "it grows a forest, a mountain, continues the flow of life", revealing its "organism and body". It is these possibilities of finding stability and balance in our world that the project is dedicated to.
The exhibition is structured as a visual diary, as a direct statement of the artist, including childhood drawings, graphic works from 2015-2019, including the "Woman Not a Doll" series (part of which is now in the Stedelijk Museum collection, Amsterdam), a black and white "prisoner cycle" created daily in the last six months, and documentary materials.
