Zhilinsky and others, contemporary Moscow artists create their own interpretations of the theme of childhood. The exhibition includes more than a hundred works of different genres and creative trends of Moscow masters, including K. Vlasova, S. Gavrilyachenko, V. Glukhov, N. Gorsky-Chernyshev, V. Kalinin, V. Kukol, A. Lyubavin, V. Polotnov, V. Rusanov, A. Sukhovetsky, O. Tikhonova, etc. There will also be works from the heritage of famous artists: E. Bragovsky, N. Plastov, V. Svetlitsky, G. Serov, A. Surovtsev and others.
The works represent the authors' memories of their own childhood as a special world filled with fantasies, fairy tales, and toys. Many paintings recreate that reality, that world of childhood, which had a great influence on the personal formation of artists participating in the exhibition project: games, fairy tales, movies, book illustrations. A large number of paintings at the exhibition are portraits of children associated with personal memories of the artists.
