Inspirational air

Remembering a warm summer afternoon,
Turquoise shimmers in the air.
The horizon slips away from me like a phantom.
The clouds are suspended by an invisible hand
The step of the earth slowing down,
Listening to the surf.
The mind is warmed by the sight
From the heat coming in,
Eternity is everywhere
There's that understanding of being...!

Every new place is good in one way or another, but this degree is always different. Sicily became for me a place of strength: each time I went there, I realized more and more clearly that this island was very firmly embedded in my life - it was love at first sight. The feeling of being in a place where you feel fulfilled spiritually and physically.
Visiting Sicily during my studies at the Academy, I accumulated a lot of material that later appeared in the exhibition. The idea of creating this exhibition is a tribute to what this place has given me. When I come back from there it takes a long time to get used to the reality around me and the energy I got there nourishes me and drives me to create sunny works with Mediterranean energy.
