EXHIBITION OF THE CREATIVE ASSOCIATION "THE BASIS"

The creative association "Osnova" was founded on the basis of the Department of Drawing at St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. Today the group consists of 3 generations of artists, including graduates of the Academy of Arts: Evgeny Antipov, Anatoly Buldakov, Igor Nakhimov, Nikolai Pyatahig.
The works of "Osnova" are included in the anthology "Three Centuries of Russian Painting," along with works by famous artists of the past. Many of the members of the association have been awarded academic and professorial titles and have received a wide variety of prizes.
The association's exhibition activities began in 1992 with an exhibition in the Marble Palace. The geography of the project is quite wide - the exhibitions were held in many cities around the world.
Conceptually, the exhibition is in tune with the activities of the ideological inspirer and founder of Zarenkov Gallery, V. A. Zarenkov, and is aimed at introducing the foreign audience to Russian and Russian painting; it can be characterized by a succinct quotation by Vyacheslav Adamovich, which is given in the epigraph.
The exhibition will be held from August 13.
The cost of the admission ticket - 400 rubles (with the possibility of access to the terrace).
