Spillover

This work is based on the observation of sand falling in an hourglass. How the boundary between time and the material world is erased. The silhouette on the canvas is slightly readable, remotely resembling an hourglass. The grains of sand dissolve in time and are almost indistinguishable in space. Along with this, the boundaries between the bulb of time and matter are erased. Everything becomes rippling and flowing.
In this work, executed in a joyful and even delicate color scheme, there is no sense of depression in connection with the reflection on the transience of moments. Here the constant changeability is the guarantee of optimism.
The strict geometric framework and calculation of each element indicates the artist's inner focus and his readiness for the inevitable processes of time.
