Freydoon Rassouli is an Iranian-born American artist (born 1943 in Isfahan).
Rassouli is a widely exhibited, internationally renowned artist, architect, and author and designer of over 23 books. Rassouli is the founder of the Fusionart movement in art, which is a fusion of dreams and reality.
Rassouli's painting technique Fusionart is an author's style that he currently teaches to students in Southern California. The main theme of Fusionart is cosmic unity. This style grew out of mysticism, Eastern spirituality and is based on European painting techniques. An artist, mystic and gifted teacher, Rassouli's work reflects a unique spiritual experience. Learning from the masters of traditional Iranian painting, he independently studied a great number of works by his favorite Russian artists: Repin, Perov, Ivanov and Aivazovsky. He has exhibited his works many times in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has thousands of fans and students in Russia. Rassouli conducts traveling training seminars, gives public lectures on his approach to creativity, but the most magical testimony to his work are the paintings created by the artist himself.
His works call the viewer into a marvelous world in which Eastern philosophy is combined with Western technique.
