Longinovich Beridze

Painter and graphic artist. He studied at St. Petersburg Academy of arts (1877-1878, 1881-1882). In 1879-1880 and 1883-1885. lived in Italy. The artist-realist ("the Girl knitting a stocking," 1892), one of the first Georgian art turned to the image of national types, and created many portraits of Georgian culture.
