He studied at the New hood. workshop in Petrograd (1913-17) from M. Dobuzhinsky and Yakovlev. From 1920 he designed productions for Petrograd. the t-ditch. From 1925 he lived in China, India, Australia, Japan, taught in the hood. schools, worked as an artist in the t-RAH. From 1945 he lived and worked in Novosibirsk, 1956 in Leningrad.
