Was born in 1947. in Leningrad. 1970. - graduated from the Leningrad College of industrial arts. V. Mukhina.

Works in the technique of etching, dry needle, lithography, linocut. Illustrated over 30 books. Performed more than 50 bookplates. Participated in International exhibitions: England (1968, 1987, 1988, 1990, 1991), Poland (1985, 1991), Canada (1986), Bulgaria (1989), Japan (1991), Norway (1991), the Netherlands (1993), France (1994), Belgium (1995), Greece (1999). Solo exhibitions: Leningrad (1984, 1991), Tallinn, Estonia (1987), Vikersund, Norway (1992), ålesund, Norway (1993), St. Petersburg Museum-apartment of A. S. Pushkin (1997). Works are in many Russian museums, including the Museum of ex-libris (Moscow), Museum of fine arts. A. S. Pushkin (Moscow), State Russian Museum (St. Petersburg), State Tretyakov gallery (Moscow), art galleries Kaliningrad, Vologda, Bryansk, Magnitogorsk.

In foreign collections and museums: the International Institute of humor and satire, Garbovo (Bulgaria), National gallery, Prague (Czech Republic), the Museum Malbork (Poland), the Museum of Bristol (England), Victoria and albert Museum (England) as well as in private collections of Russia and many countries of the world.
