Graduated in 1971 the Moscow art school "Memory 1905". Her teachers at the faculty artists of the theatre was T. I. Selvinsky and T. B. Serebryakov. Next year she begins to participate in exhibitions, including such prestigious, as "Youth of Russia", working in the creative Association "Screen", make the scenery and costumes of 15 performances in different theatres. Among the 14 animated films, artist which was Zotova, the most famous "Island of the captains", "the sorcerer's Apprentice", "Space aliens", "the old man sold a cow".

She was awarded the honorary diploma of the Kustanai regional Committee of the Komsomol of Kazakhstan in 1978, then became an honorary diploma of the Festival of dramaturgy and theatrical art of the peoples of the USSR held in Leningrad. In 1973 he became a member of the Youth Association MOSKH, 1984 — admitted to membership of the Union of artists (section of theater, film and television).

Favorite genres of art: theatre sketches, sketches, storyboards. Zotov drawn to chic colours, the unexpected scenic solutions, revealing the basic meaning of the action. Her scenery for theatrical performances are distinguished by integrity and clarity, poetry, sometimes undercurrent of mischievous Humor (the talking part), the original professional technology (tempera on Batista). A good and impressive combination of paradoxical, seemingly mutually exclusive solutions designed to "blow up" inside the usual perception, to reveal the underlying drama of the play. Especially this principle of evidence to the contrary effect in the sketches of scenery for productions of "the Seagull", "Antigone", "the Master and Margarita". Distinguishing the silhouette, humorous and expressive sketches puppets for children's shows, cartoons.
