He studied at the Academy of arts in St. Petersburg. (1878-1882). In 1890 received the title of class artist of the 3rd degree. Participant of exhibitions: the Academic Association of the Wanderers (from 1892). Taught at the Studio of painting and drawing at the Saratov society lovers of fine arts (1889), the pious drawing College in Saratov(1887-1906), in the Ekaterinburg art-industrial school (1906-1908).
