Was born in Kiev. Elementary art education received from N. The rokický. Participated in art exhibitions in Kiev (1927), Kharkov (1929), Paris (1929). In 1928 – 1931 he studied at the graphic Department at the Kyiv art vocational school, A. Ruban, K. Trokhymenko, K. Yeleva. Collaborated with publishers "Culture", "art", "Malody bilshovik", "Derived" etc. Illustrated books, classics of Ukrainian literature, H. Andersen, L. Feuchtwanger, A. Chekhov, N. Gogol, numerous children's publications. In 1931 – 1941, was an artist-animator at film Studio. A. Dovzhenko in Kiev Studio of newsreel. Engaged in the creation of bookplates. In 1980 in Kiev was held a memorial exhibition of the works. The artist's creative path was investigated in detail by V. Ruban ("the Forgotten names. Stories about the Ukrainian artists of XIX – early XX century", Kyiv, 1990).
