Honored artist of Russia. Member of the Union of artists of the USSR (1980).
In 1961 he graduated from Art College in Vladivostok.
In 1970 he graduated from Moscow art Institute. V. I. Surikov (workshop of A. M. Gritsai, D. D. Zhilinsky and S. N. Shilnikova). Many years working in the Vologda and Arkhangelsk regions. The participant of numerous Republican, all-Union and exhibitions.
Main genre: still life, landscape, portrait, domestic picture.
Works are in private collections and museums of Russia, including the State Tretyakov Gallery.
