Gavriilovich Nikiforov

Studied at MUZHVZ (1896 - 1908) A. Stepanov and V. Serov. In 1908 he received the title of class artist. Retired from College in 1910 - 1911. Lived and worked in Moscow. He mainly painted portraits and genre scenes. He taught at MUZHVZ. Member of the Peredvizhniki group from 1905. A member of the CPX from 1910. Participant of exhibitions from 1898 (the Moscow school of painting, TPHV, CPX, MTL, etc.).
