Painter, landscape painter, member.Of the Union of artists of the USSR (1938). B. in Tver, he graduated from the Tver theological Seminary (1909), 1915-23 (with breaks) studied at the honey. faculty of Saratov University. In 1921-44 worked in the San. education in Tver (Kalinin), 1932-35 took lessons from hood. N. I.Borisov. PA-one of the org-tori and the 1st pred. T-VA "Kalinin artist" (1932), 1924 party hood. exhibitions in Tver (Kalinin), solo exhibitions in Kalinin in 1950, 1965, 1975, 1985. P. author of books: "Studies in nature" (1959) and "Beauty of the Russian nature" (1963). In Tver. . art Gal. the paintings of P."Spring twilight" (1945), "Quiet pool" (1948); a cycle of sketches "Pushkin places the Kalinin region." (1949, 1951-52). In 1944-45 P.-pred. of the Board of the Kalinin oblast Union of artists. Since 1989 lived in Satirical St., 116 (home preserved). Died in Kalinin, buried at St. Nicholas Malicki cemetery.
