Born on the Volga river in a peasant family. In 1918 he volunteered for the Red Army. In her biography - the struggle to establish Soviet power in the North Caucasus, the elimination of children's homelessness, the grain procurements in the areas of Donbass, the construction of the Kramatorsk metallurgical plant, and in 1941 - the evacuation of the factories and mines of the Donbass. Lived in Saratov until his death.

To draw the beginning on the 60th year of life. Participant in several exhibitions of Amateur artists, including the all-Union exhibition of Amateur artists of the "Glory to labor" (Moscow, 1974). Works are in State Russian house of folk art and the Museum-reserve "Tsaritsyno".
