Grigorievich Tsyplakov

(1915, Ryazan region – 1986, Moscow)

People's Artist of the RSFSR. Corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Arts. Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR. Professor.

In 1942 he graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute. V. I. Surikov (the legendary first edition), where he studied under I. E. Grabar, S. V. Gerasimov, V. V. Pochitalova, G. M. Segala (thesis "V. I. Chapaev").

In 1957 was appointed head of personal workshop at my local Institute. 1962 – Professor. From his workshop came an artist, which subsequently received the title "National".

Famous throughout the Soviet Union V. G. Tsyplakova brought the "Gorky on the Volga" (1945), "V. I. Lenin" (1947), "the Interrogation Zoe Kosmodemyanskoy" (1945).

Became one of the few artists who were permitted to sketch the funeral of Stalin in 1953

Solo exhibitions were held in 1956, 1986 and 2007 in Moscow.

People's artist of the RSFSR, corresponding member of the USSR Academy of arts, honored art worker of the RSFSR, twice winner of the Stalin prize of the USSR (1949, 1950). Lenin with peasants" (1959), "Lenin in Smolny". Together with V. P. by Efanova, S. I. Dudnik and Yuri P. Kugach has fulfilled the state order "leading men in the Kremlin." He painted portraits, landscapes. Solo exhibitions: 1956 Moscow, 1986 – Moscow. The work of V. G.
