Painter, graphic artist, social activist. Graduated from the Penza art school, then — AH (1914) the Studio of D. N. Kardovsky. The organizer of the "Community of artists" (1908-1932), after the October revolution — its headman. Participated in the design of the city during the revolutionary holidays. The Exhibitor number of trade shows.

Born June 12, 1882, Studied at the Penza art school, then Art College to 1903 From 1903 – 1914 he studied at the Imperial Academy of arts. Lived and worked in Petrograd/Leningrad. In October 1914, awarded the title of artist for the painting "Dubinushka".

Member of Commune of artists (President in 1920). Exhibited with the Society of Russian watercolors, AHRR (6 exhibitions).
