Painter, graphic artist, social activist. Graduated from the Penza art school, then — AH (1914) the Studio of D. N. Kardovsky. The organizer of the "Community of artists" (1908-1932), after the October revolution — its headman. Participated in the design of the city during the revolutionary holidays. Born June 12, 1882, Studied at the Penza art school, then Art College to 1903 From 1903 – 1914 he studied at the Imperial Academy of arts. Lived and worked in Petrograd/Leningrad. In October 1914, awarded the title of artist for the painting "Dubinushka".
Member of Commune of artists (President in 1920). Exhibited with the Society of Russian watercolors, AHRR (6 exhibitions).
