Born in the village Yuryevets, Ivanovo region in 1912, 1930 and 1934 she studied at the Yaroslavl art school from 1937 to 1941 at the Russian arts under I. I. Brodsky, E. M. Cheptsov, B. V. Johanson. From 1947 to 1960 he taught at the Irkutsk art College, among his students - V. Kuzmin, E. Simonov, V. Shalaev. A member of the artists Union of the USSR since 1947
