Biography and information

He studied at the Moscow art school, then in 1853 - at the Academy of fine arts. Received medals: in 1856 - 2 silver; in 1857 two 2 silver; in 1858 - 2 silver, and 1 for the painting "Dressing the girls down the aisle"; in 1859 - 2 gold for the painting "Departure of a peasant boy in the school"; in 1860, 1 gold for the program "the sobriety Society"; in the same year, the knowledge of the class artist. In 1861 was sent by the pensioner for granica in 1867, the title of academician for the painting "Unequal marriage in Italy." He wrote a large part of the images in the temple Fraternal cemetery in Sevastopol, as well as the image and pattern for St. Vladimir Church there. Opened the original art school in Sevastopol.
